S3.3.7 RAW Main Event Anna Jay v Melina (Wrestlemania Rematch)

JR: “Up next is quite the treat, King! The first Raw of the season includes a WrestleMania Rematch!”

King: “They’re lead up to Mania was getting a spot on the card. Melina kept sneak attacking Anna Jay to take her out.”

Anna Jay is first to make her way out to a decent pop.

JR: “Anna Jay put Melina away at the big show but if she can do it again tonight… I’m not quite sure where that leaves Melina on the roster.”

Melina makes her entrance next. She’s not doing the splits in her entrance. She enters the ring focused tonight.

King: “Melina desperately needs to win this JR!”

Ding ding.

Melina instantly becomes the aggressor as she grabs Anna into a headlock.

She takes it a step further and gives her a quick snapmare.

She doesn’t let up and combos it by locking Anna into a chin lock.

Anna screeches in pain as she reaches out for the ring ropes that are nowhere near.

Tap out bitch!

Melina continues the combo and begins elbowing the top of Anna’s head.

King: “There’s some ruthless aggression from Melina tonight. She’s gotta keep that up!”

JR: “She’s gotta keep this upstart from permanently taking her spot!”

Melina is not taking any chances as she aggressively strikes the younger woman.

“Give me back my spot—!” Melina hollers.

Anna Jay snaps her own head backward delivering a backwards headbutt to the mouth of Melina.

Melina grabs her mouth in pain.

The camera gets a closer look at her hands and it appears to be bright red substance bursting from her hands.

When Melina had yelled for her spot back Anna Jay had head butted her in the mouth causing Melina to inadvertently bite down on her own tongue.

JR: “This could be the turning point of the match!”

Anna Jay meekly gets to her feet and Barry notices an opening.

With Melina’s hands tied up Anna grabs hold of Melina from behind and locks her into the QueenSlayer.

Melina is struggling to breath and choking on her own blood.

Melina is fading rapidly but doesn’t want to quit.

She coughs out more blood and her chin is covered in blood.

She taps out rapidly and Anna Jay releases the hold.

Blood smeared all over her arms.

She raises her hands in triumphed as the veteran superstar gasps for air at her feet.

The referee checks on her as the show fades to black.

King: “So long Melina. It might be time to hang up those boots!”
