A stagehand can be seen inaudibly talking to Brandi and something he says clearly upsets her. Whatever he said has resulted in the superstar suddenly packing her wrestling attire into her bag.
The stagehand walks off the screen and Brandi takes her bag and begins following suite.
“I don’t know how I squashed Anna last week and yet she’s the one who gets a match tonight! And she loses! Yet I’m the one wasting my time coming to the arena tonight and not even having a match!” Brandi is clearly frustrated as she exits the locker room. She’s suddenly face-to-title with the IC title, draped over it’s carrier’s soldier.
The camera backs up and we see the IC Title is draped over the fantastically broad shoulder of a familiar foe of Brandi, Nikki Bella.
“Brandi!”
Brandi looks up at Nikki, “Nikki Bella.”
The crowd cheers when they see Nikki.
There’s a lot of history between these two women. They battled in a triple threat match with Dolce at Mania. Yet there always seemed to be a level of respect between the two fan favorites.
“Leaving so soon Brandi?”
“Apparently, I wasn’t worthy of being booked on the card tonight, Nikki. Apparently you either have to be blonde or hold gold to get any attention around here.”
“Awww boo hoo!” Nikki teases. “If I were you I’d go out there and make an example out of people. Just go out there and take unleash that inner demon and beat the hell out of someone lol”
“I’m not a savage like you. But there are quite a few people I’d like go out there and destroy.” Brandi quips.
The two women have a ton of history together but despite it all; there may be only one woman who they each have had a bigger rival in, Kelly Kelly.
Kelly pops up on both women. “Ladies!”
Nikki and Brandi both have their guard up and simultaneously respond “Kelly!”
In contrast to last week, Kelly is in much better spirits. Last week, when she was talking to Brandi, she was clearly in the slums.
In the most disingenuous of tones, “Ladies, it looks like we have the night off ladies! Well except you Nikki. You have a contract signing with Paige tonight. After that maybe we should go get drinks tonight and talk business.”
Kelly has never been this friendly before. Brandi questions the beautiful blonde, “Since when do you want to hangout with anyone?”
“I fuckin hate your guts Kelly… but if you’re buying drinks tonight let’s fuckin go already! Oh but I’m gonna go get Bri to go with us!” Nikki bombastically proclaims.
Kelly is completely disingenuous as she looks to Brandi for her response.
Feeling like something is off about Kelly and despite each of their veteran statuses, she simply doesn’t trust Kelly.
“I’m going to sit this one out ladies. Brandi responds.
“Fine! Nikki go get your sis and let’s talk after the show.” Kelly replies.
“And drink! Your buying us drinks tonight, girl!” Nikki begins walking off the set to go tell Bri the plans.
Kelly and Brandi share an uneasy stare down before Kelly breaks the tension, “Next time then.”
